Top 3 social media tools for small business owners

Updated: Nov 5, 2021

I run a few social media accounts for small businesses in Thibodaux, Houma, and Morgan City. Keeping up with the demand of creating content for these platforms can be grueling. I use a ton of tools to help me keep up. The three I use the most help me create visuals, find hashtags, and edit content for my posts/blog. They have helped me tremendously, and I hope they can help you.

Canva

If you haven't heard of Canva, it is a game-changer for non-creative small business owners. It is an easy-to-use platform with eye-catching templates. I use it daily.

Canva pro is $9.99 per month and is worth purchasing. It includes access to premium 420,000+ templates, 75+ million premium stock photos, videos, audios, and graphic elements, 25K+ audio tracks, 3000+ fonts, 100 GB storage, unlimited folders to organize your designs with better collaboration tools and advanced time-saving features.

Hashtag Expert

Hashtag Expert is a paid app and money well-spent. I use it daily to find a save popular hashtags for my posts.

Hemingway App

According to The Literacy Project, the average American reads at a 7th to 8th-grade level.

This means simplifying your content will make for a more enjoyable reading experience for your audience. Enter the Hemingway App.

This tool analyzes your text and gives it a readability score by grade level. It also provides suggestions on how to improve the text.
